Tim Whyte 

Tim joined the group in 2023 and is our Chief Operating Officer. He takes care of the day to day running of our hotel & pub businesses. 

Previously Tim was the Regional Director of Western Europe for the Radisson Hotel Group, overseeing a portfolio of 25 hotels in four countries, encompassing managed, franchised and leased hotels with an asset value of 1.2bn euros  Tim lived in France from 2014 and he has turned around several significant hotel assets in Paris, Brussels, Nice & Lyon, resulting in EBITDA growth of several million euro at a time when the French hotel market faced a number of exceptional challenges, including terrorist attacks. Tim specifically created higher returns in underperforming luxury assets in Nice, Cannes & Paris. 

Tim was previously the Regional Director for Radisson Ireland, responsible for an asset portfolio of 15 hotels, mostly under the Radisson Blu brand. During this time Tim oversaw the return to profitability of the group in Ireland. He was nominated for General Manager of the Year for two years by the Irish Hospitality Institute. During his tenure Radisson also won Best Hotel Group of the Year. 

Prior to Radisson, Tim worked for Crowe Horwath in their corporate-finance team, where he was responsible for the restructuring of some of Ireland & Europe’s most prominent luxury hotels. He has worked in Ireland, UK, France, Belgium and Spain for various hotel companies including Radisson, Choice Hotels and Red Carnation Hotels. 

Although Tim’s hotel career began in finance, which remains a core competence, his career path has seen him develop considerable strength as a manager of the day-to-day operations of large hotels. In each and every role he has taken on he has significantly increased EBITDA while also improving guest experience and satisfaction.
